Bio
I’m Dolaana Davaa. I’m a Tuvinian Artist living in Milan (I was born in Republic of Tuva, Russia).
I’m deeply immersed in art from the early age and, after the artistic lyceum in Moscow, I entered in the Italian Arts Academy of Brera, in Milan.
I work with various paintings and sculptural methods. Over the past two years, the art of the fashion designer Martin Margiela and many other fashion houses have greatly affected the creation of textile sculptures, masks and corsets.
The main topic of artwork is to rethinking the canons of old art, forcing the picture to melt or make the classic art objects of simple decoration.
My creations combine ideas, desires and inspirations of my inner child with my adult aesthetic and significant view.
